Richard Colin
Assistant Professional
PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional
Hailing from Osoyoos, Richard started playing golf at a young age. His passion for golf has seen him take on a variety of roles just to be able to play whenever possible.
He moved to Vernon in 2020 with his wife and young son and is thrilled to be working at Vernon Golf and Country Club. After being diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis at the age of 30, Richard was devastated at the thought of not being able to play golf anymore. Instead he focused on learning absolutely everything he could about best practices for golfers, including how to use strength building and mobility training alongside his playing to improve his form. He is excited to bring this knowledge to Vernon to help others improve their game no matter what they are dealing with health wise or otherwise.
